2) Application materials

The table below summarizes the mandatory documents you will have to provide to complete your application in accordance with the French national regulations.

• Professorship competition : Candidates must submit their remarkable works during the first phase (from 22/02/2018 2018  - 10 am (Paris time) to 29/03/2018 - 11:59 pm (Paris time)).

• Associate professorship competition: Candidates must list the titles of their published works and specify their ISBN numbers. Only short-listed candidates for interview are required to submit their remarkable works. This is an additional phase and more information will be communicated later on to short-listed candidates.

III) Application procedure- Two-phase process

• Due to national regulations, all applicants must register first on the French Galaxie Portal

Registration on the GALAXIE Portal is open from 22/02/2018 - 10 am (Paris time) to 29/03/2018 - 4 pm (Paris time)

• .Once you have completed your registration on Galaxie, drop your application materials onto the ENS application system - DematEC-ENS. It must especially include the application form duly completed on the Galaxie Portal (don’t forget to sign and date the form).

DematEC-ENS is open from 22/02/2018 - 10 am (Paris time) to 29/03/2018 - 11:59 pm (Paris time).
Only electronic applications are accepted (PDF format). Do not email, fax, or mail application materials to our office: we will not review these items.

All official documents (copy of PhD diploma, valid photo identification) must be translated in FRENCH and bear the seal of an authorized translator.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Application materials must be printed and kept throughout the process.
It is recommended to submit material applications on the DematEC-ENS system in advance. The ENS Human Resources office will follow up incomplete files and contact candidates to ensure that missing parts are collected before March 29.   

Any incomplete applications on 29/03/2018 at 11:59 pm (Paris time) will not be accepted.

IV) Results

Candidates access the preliminary results on the Galaxie Portal by using their candidate number and their password given to those whose eligibility has been recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. This access is open from 07/06/2018 - 10 am (Paris time) to 14/06/2018 - 4 pm (Paris time).

Successful applicants must specify what position they accept, indicating their order of preference (in case they register to multiple positions).
A final message summarizes the successful candidate wishes and invites the person to disconnect. You have until 14/06/2018 (4 pm Paris time) in case you want to make changes.
